About
A Holistic Approach to Health
Zion’s Parish Health Ministry presents a“holistic” approach to the health needs of the congregation, embracing the health of the Body, Mind, and Spirit. The Faith Community Nurse reaches out to homebound and nursing home residents with phone calls, personal visits, get-well and sympathy cards, and monthly holy communion. Meet our Faith Community Nurse
Darlene Wiseth, RN, CNOR
Parish Nursing is not “hands on nursing” but is a resource to address parishioners’ needs. Blood pressure screening is always available during office hours on Mondays from 3:30 – 4:30 pm.
But caring for the congregation does not always happen at the church. It is often something that is not always visible and happens when I am at home, in the grocery store, or on the street.
I feel blessed to be in this ministry and gladly address what I can.
